For some reason, I haven't wanted to go into digital painting because I don't have a painting or anything I can hold or put on my wall. Do you have a good reason to go into it?
:icongunfighter6:
Well...hmm. You could always have a good print made of it. But I know where your coming from too. It's nice to create something one of a kind. But on the other hand I think that the digital world has much to offer as well. I don't want to choose traditional art only because I'm limited to it. This is just a new medium to explore. It feels the same way it did when I picked up watercolors for the first time and realized what possibilities were there. I'm not going to hang up my brushes, but I will add this new tool to my arsenal ;)

Wow, this is amazing! I really thought it was a real painting. It absolutely blows my mind that people can do that on the computer.

A party at your house? With your friends?
I'm terribly sorry, but I've got an excuse to go to.

a wacom, great! which one? I plan to buy the graphire 4 this weekend :plotting: though I know I won't get any results even close to this, I'm shocked once and again by your skills at portraiture and no one would say this is your first digital, is great! and it'll come to my :+favlove:

I really love the intensity in the eyes, and the almost photorealism of it. It has an watercolory feel to it at the same time.

Hey thanks a lot :) I got the Intuos3 6x8. I have to say that I've been thrilled with how naturally my traditional art methods have transferred into digital. After using it for a few hours, I don't see how people get the results the do with a mouse. I'm sure you'll really enjoy yours ;)
