Another wonderful piece. Especailly good job on the hair (great highlights) and eyes (they almost sparkle). The shadowing on the right of her nose (her left) is a little jagged/harsh (imho), but that's part of the difficulty with working with watercolors for portraits. Again, great piece.

thnks for the comment. I don't make a practice of going back and reworking a finished painting, so the shadow on her nose will have to stay the way it is. thanks for noticing the eyes though, I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

. . .and I wouldn't want you to go back and mess with a completed piece since a)it's only my opinion, and b) you would probaby end up doing more harm than good. It's a great painting. :)

it is amazing to me what you do with water colors!! Her eyes!! and the lashes!! to control such a fluid medium like that..just boggles my mind.

Yeah, I'm diggin the eyes. I tried a new method this time. I'm pretty happy with them.(I'm not too sure about this "god" thing though) :D

thank you :hug: I find it tons easier to control a mour fluid medium than a thicker one. I think that's why I don't paint in Acrylics much :shrug:
